2025 YOCO Program
This program is open to youth between the ages of 13 and 16 years old and offers 3 different YOCO programs. There will be a spring, summer(3) and this year a fall program.

 The dates of these programs are 
Spring YOCO       CAMP A -  May 23 (5 pm) to 25 (4 pm)   ***FULL***

Summer YOCO    CAMP B1  -  July 7,8,9  (drop off at 10 am, pick up at 4 pm)

                               CAMP B2 -   July 11,12,13  (drop off at 10 am ,pick up at 4 pm) 
                               CAMP B3 -  July 15,16,17  (drop off at 10 am , pick up at 4 pm)

Fall YOCO             CAMP  C  -  October 3,4,5  (drop off 5 pm , pick up at 4 pm )

We will be camping in Milford, Ontario, and spending the day at the banding lab to learn safe bird handling and bird banding techniques.
All program will take an in-depth, hands-on approach to the banding experience, while learning the different birds both migrating and resident birds. We will learn scribing, extraction, bird survey and most importantly all things birds.  Additionally, we'll explore the wildlife area, conducting various surveys in different habitat to enhance our birding skills. 


There is a $50 fee for weekend programs(spring and fall)  and a $100 fee for the summer program. There is potential for a sliding scale adjustment on a case by case bases.
