Thanks for volunteering for the PDX People's Climate March!

September 21st will be the largest climate justice mobilization in history-- in New York, across the country and around the world.

To volunteer for the Portland March, please fill in the form below and someone will contact you very soon. All volunteers will receive a T-shirt at the start of the event!

Gathering begins at 3pm Sept 21 at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park (park bowl just south of Hawthorne bridge @ SW Naito Parkway & SW Madison). There will be a rally in the park, followed by a short (~1 hour) March that will return to the park around 5:30-6pm. There will be a diverse group of speakers at the rally, and banners and representatives from several local groups with time at the end to talk with them.

We will need a lot of volunteers at the event itself. Can you help with one of these jobs?

Safe Climate: Be part of the Safety Crew! Arrive at 2:45pm and attend the whole event, helping to ensure a peaceful and injury-free afternoon. A local Peacekeeper team will provide on-site training 10am-Noon on Saturday, Sept 20, Waterfront Park.

Clean Climate: Be a clean-up crew hero! Clean up will be ~6:15-7:30pm, ensuring that we leave the Park as we found it. A great option if you can only join us late.

Fund Climate Action! Arrive at 2:45pm and attend the whole event, mingling with the crowd and collecting donations. Return donation jars to the organizer at event's end.
