SunCoast Traffic School: Driving Lesson Agreement and Student Information Sheet
As required by state law, all state licensed driving schools must disclose that they make no guarantees that a student will secure a driver's license as a result of the lessons being provided.
PLEASE TAKE SCHEDULING YOUR LESSONS SERIOUSLY! We understand that emergencies occur. Students are required to respond to text reminders that are sent out 24 hours prior to their lesson. If you cancel the lesson less than 24 hours before the lesson start time, a $45 cancellation fee is required in order to reschedule a lesson. We will refuse service to clients who abuse the cancelation policy.
Lesson rates are: $90 for 1.5 hours or $120 for 2 hours which include pick-up and drop-off at prearranged locations. Pricing for students who live outside of our pickup and meeting range are $100 for 1.5 hours or $130 for 2 hours. (Locations outside of our pickup range include the following: any client south of Ridge Road in Pasco County, any client past city limits in Brooksville, and North of Sugarmill Woods in Citrus County).
Students must have a valid learner's permit or drivers license in their possession to drive on all lessons.
Instructors are on tight schedules so lesson time starts when the instructor arrives. Please be ready.
Cash, Check, or Credit/Debit cards are accepted. A 3.75% service fee is applied to all Credit or Debit card use. Payment is made to the instructor at the start of each lesson.
A certificate for insurance discount purposes is available upon request. Check with your insurance carrier to see if this helps on your policy, and ask how many hours of training they require.
Good personal hygiene is required and instructors will refuse a student who presents less than "clean," including body odor. We expect students to be clean as we do our instructors.
Hard soled footwear is required for driving. No flip-flops, loose sandals, high heels, or steel toed work boots. Tennis shoes or sneakers are required.
Vehicles are equipped with video and audio recording cameras for liability reasons. As a result, video and audio conversations of students may be captured during lessons. Full consent by both students and parents/guardians is implied anytime a student is in the vehicle.
