hands-on activities, workshops, sustainability exhibits, close-up viewing of the race boats, and interactive understanding of ocean health with impact changes that can be made by all in the Exploration Zone. Ocean Race Learning Program Curriculum consists of Champions for the Sea for K-8 and Generation Ocean for High school students. The breakdown is as follows.
5 Modules: Champions for the Sea K-8

2. Our Ocean Connection and Ocean Plastic Pollution
3. How to Reduce Ocean Plastic Pollution
4. My Positive Footprint
5.Science and Sailing
5 modules accommodate a variety of standards including:
Next Generation Science Standards
Common Core State Standards for Math
Rhode Island Core Standards for English Language Arts and Literacy
National Core Art Standards.
The Champions for the Sea curriculum is geared to 6-12 y/o and works with loads of standards (see my spreadsheet)
