FabLab Tacoma is excited to launch our Virtual Reality Production Suite Spring of 2017. We are calling for local artist in the vicinity of Washington, Oregon, California, and Idaho to apply for our two-week to six-week Artist-in-Residency. This program will include 6 hours a day access to production suite to assist with the development of a VR experience. FabLab will only provide basic software/hardware training. Artist who have experience with VR Film, game design, or animation production should apply for this residency. The artist will have the opportunity to teach four workshops on software, production, and/or VR workflow. Living accommodations are not provided, however, we can assist for finding a host family.
VR Film artist will have the opportunity to feature their work at Tacoma Film Festival | Open Lens Series: Works in progress.
