Closing the Gap: 2021 Winter Meeting          Combler l'écart: Réunion d'hiver 2021
The Canadian Mathematical Society’s semi-annual meetings are a wonderful tradition of sharing and learning in the Canadian mathematical community. As part of its continuing efforts to promote the participation of the full diversity of mathematical talents in this community, the CMS will be offering free registration to the CMS 2021 Online Winter Meeting and mini-courses to the following groups:

Black and Indigenous students;
A limited number of female-identifying and LGBTQ+ students. Priority will be given to CMS student members who are undergraduate or course-based/unsupervised graduate students.

Les réunions semi-annuelles de la SMC poursuivent dans l’esprit du partage et de l’apprentissage au sein de la communauté mathématique canadienne. La Société mathématique du Canada déploie constamment ses efforts à promouvoir la pleine diversité des talents mathématiques dans la communauté. C’est dans le cadre de ses efforts que la SMC subventionnera les frais d’inscription à la Réunion en ligne de l’hiver 2021 de la SMC et aux mini-cours qui y auront lieu aux groupes suivants :

Les étudiant.es noir.es et autochtones.
Un nombre limité d’étudiant.es s’identifiant comme femme, non binaire ou LGBTQ+. La priorité est accordée aux membres étudiant.es de la SMC qui sont au premier cycle ou qui sont non supervisé.es aux cycles supérieurs.
