Hybrid/Remote Instruction Model Survey
The State of Maine and the Dept. of Education will be coding each of Maine's counties based on Covid-19   transmission rates and other factors. The State recommends Green Counties-full in-person instruction, Yellow Counties-Hybrid Model, Red Counties-full remote instruction. On Friday, we should know our color. The state of Maine has said that every two weeks our color (red, yellow, green) will be assessed. Because our color is most likely going to shift and change rapidly, we need some information from you. If you have any questions about how to answer the following survey questions please contact Superintendent/Principal Tara Morin at tara_morin@maranacook.com.

A hybrid instruction model is approximately half of the students in the school building while the other half learns remotely with Ed. Tech. support. Students will rotate between in school and remote instruction.

A remote instructional model is all students learning at home with instruction provided via a virtual platform.

How important is it for all students to have an opportunity to return to school full time in-person when school opens at the regularly scheduled time? *
Safety is very very  important. I think students who return slowly so a small group of students can have more of the teacher's time to get them ready for remote learning, start assessments and get to know the students.
