What is Stemmed Minds?
Stemmed Minds is a youth-based organization dedicated to inspiring the next generation of medical professionals by combining STEM activities with the science of medicine. We had founded this organization when we noticed a lack of medical opportunities in children and are committed to fixing this ongoing issue. To fix this, we offer hands-on workshops where children and young adults can explore the intricacies of the human body while developing their creativity, leadership, and teaching skills.
Our Mission:
Stemmed Minds empowers the next generation of medical professionals by providing hands-on STEM and medical learning opportunities to all youth, regardless of background.
What do we offer?
- Members can gain service hours
- Members can learn more about their intended field of study
- Members gain experience in leadership/ teaching experience.
- Members build their college application
- And collaborate with likeminded peers :)
Member Roles:
As a member of Stemmed Minds, you must be willing to...
- Devote your time to learn and teach material
- Work as a team with other group members
- Complete tasks (polls, feedback, etc) diligently (don't worry it won't be that much)
- Promote events and workshops
- And most importantly...have fun!!!
Once you have submitted this form and have been selected we will add you to our members list and email you in 2-4 business days. With the email, if selected, you will be assigned to a team depending on what you selected.
