These are a few essential requirements we consider important to the success of our performance. Each item is based on real situations we've previously encountered.
If the performance cannot take place, or is halted due to any of the below not being honoured or pre-agreed, the client accepts that the fee is non-refundable.
We're always happy to speak directly with your venue/coordinators to clarify any details or help in any way to ensure everything runs smoothly!

Equipment
Only band members should handle the band’s equipment, unless previously agreed.
If any equipment is damaged due to someone else accessing the stage/performance space, the client will be responsible for repairs and/or like for like replacements.
Please let us know if your venue requires a copy of our PAT testing and PLI certificates and we'll be happy to provide this.
Please note that suitable shelter/shade should be provided for all outdoor performances.

Safety
The band needs a safe and suitable space to perform.
The stage area must be solid, dry, level, covered, and at least 4m x 6m (recommended), unless agreed otherwise in advance.
The load-in and load-out area must also be suitable for moving large equipment like speakers and amplifiers.
Musicians have the right to perform in a safe and respectful environment. If at any time they feel unsafe — including due to inappropriate or threatening behaviour from anyone on site — we reserve the right to stop the performance immediately and a refund will not be issued.

Power
The band requires a reliable and safe power supply with an absolute minimum of four standard UK plug sockets, not shared with kitchen equipment.
If using a generator or external power source, any necessary adaptors or converters for standard UK plugs must be provided.

Sound Limiters
We’re always mindful of volume and happy to work with the venue/coordinators to keep sound levels appropriate.
Some venues use sound limiters that are designed to cut power to the stage if volume levels exceed a set limit. These devices may damage equipment or interrupt the performance.
For this reason, we cannot allow our equipment to be plugged into a sound limiter under any circumstances. Please confirm with the venue before signing this agreement that this will not be required.
In many cases, an alternative power source can be used, but this must be arranged in advance.
We work with a sound engineer who is on hand to manage sound restrictions while the band provide their best performance.
Please let us know if your venue has a sound limit and we will make our engineer aware.

Timings
The band requires up to 2 hours to set up and sound check prior to performance. Please enquire if the band is requires to arrive earlier than this.
Duo/solo options for drinks receptions require at least 60 minutes to set up and sound check.
Our recommended timings for an evening event are two sets: 8:30–9:30 pm and 10:30–11:30pm, with the band arriving at 6:30 pm. If no specific timings are provided, we will default to this
There is space on this booking form to confirm your preferred timings, and we’re always happy to be flexible.
If an earlier arrival is required, this must be discussed at the time of booking, as it may not always be possible and could incur an additional fee.

Requests and playlists
The band are happy to learn up to 2 x requests. This can include a first dance (if applicable).
The band will use their creative discretion while learning and performing your requests. If the band feels that your chosen tracks cannot be suitably replicated for your event, we will endeavour to work with you to find a suitable alternative.

Please provide any requests no later than 8 weeks before your event to allow sufficient time to learn them.
Unless you are using a DJ, we can provide a playlist service pre-set up, during our break and for up to 30 minutes after our last song of the night - subject to your venue's music curfew.

We can either use our tried and tested Mammoth playlist, or you can provide a link for us to use. Please share any links to playlists no later than 7 days before the event so that we can make sure it is downloaded on to one of our devices. This is particularly important if your venue is out of suitable data/Wifi service range.

If additional playlist service is required after those 30 minutes, this can be arranged at a cost of £70 per additional hour.

Cancellations
The band is considered booked once we receive a signed copy of this agreement along with this booking fee. This fee is non-refundable unless the band cancels the performance, in which case we will refund any fees paid, up to the amount received.
If the event is cancelled 60 days or less before the agreed date, the full balance will still be due.
COVID-19 Clause: If the event must be rescheduled due to COVID-19 restrictions, the booking fee is fully transferable. If a new date cannot be agreed due to Mammoth’s availability, the booking fee will be refunded — in these circumstances only.

Lineup
From time to time, a band member may be unavailable due to personal, health, or family reasons. In such cases, we use well-rehearsed alternative musicians and singers to maintain the high standard of the performance.
