Teton Valley Community School (TVCS) strives to maintain a diverse student body and makes all admissions decisions need blind, that is without regard to a family's financial situation. In support of admissions policies, TVCS offers a need-based Tuition Assistance program for grades K-8 in an effort to make tuition financially feasible for a family with demonstrated need.
Tuition Assistance awards are based on your Expected Family Contribution (EFC). Your EFC is determined using the information you report below and then applying a formula that considers family size, cost of housing, insurance, food, etc. In it's simplest form need based aid is determined by subtracting your EFC from the Price of Tuition.
For separated or divorce families: Both parents must complete the tuition assistance application unless one parent has sole custody and maintains full financial obligation. You may fill out the application separately to ensure you are only seeing your information.
It is our intent to provide you with an easy and affordable process through which you can apply for need based Tuition Assistance. There is no cost to apply and this application allows you to apply for multiple students at once, therefore, please fill out only one application per family. We have limited the questions asked to reflect what we need in order to make an informed decision.
Along with completing this form you will be required to submit the following supporting documentation to Martina Hansen in person or via email at
