Saturday June 1st: 11am-1pm
Science Stories with Meograph
Suggested Audience: Educators, Mentors
Create your own Meograph (—the easiest way to create multimedia stories. With no training needed, you can quickly create an online, interactive digital story about science and the environment and share it anywhere on the web.

Playing with 16mm: 12pm-2pm
Suggested Audience: Youth, Young Adults
Create an experimental film without a camera! Participants will scratch, bleach, paint and cut/splice 16mm film! Learn about direct animation and watch a collaborative piece on our projector!

Cloud Production: 2pm-4pm
Suggested Audience: All Ages
Learn how to integrate Cloud software (Google Drive, Celtx, WeVideo) to create experimental, budget-free filmmaking and link directly onto the web.

The Power of Grassroots Filmmaking: 3:30pm-5:30pm
Suggested Audience: Young Adults, Educators, Mentors, Filmmakers
Work in a team to develop a financial and distribution plan for a sample film treatment, and learn how to secure donations and crowd-sourcing—a road map to take with you on your own journey as a media maker.

Sunday, June 2:

Digital Life: 12:30pm-2:30pm
Suggested Audience: All Ages
Ever wonder how different age groups think about the assumptions and stereotypes we see in the media that we consume as a society? TILT will lead you through an intergenerational Digital Life Story project that gets to the heart of a solution through making your own short mobile movie!

Social TV in the Classroom: 2pm-4pm
Suggested Audience: Young Adults, Educators, Mentors
Explore a virtual movie theater that allows you to moderate dialogue, build an online audience around social issues, and promote media literacy. We'll demo this new video streaming tool from ITVS by screening the film "Wonder Women!: The Untold Story of America's Superheroines" (with special guests).
