2025 SPECIAL PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD
Use this form to nominate an award winner for the 2025 SPECIAL PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD.

Every year, a new crime prevention program is developed, or an old one is revitalized to give that program a new direction. This award recognizes a new or improved program that has had a significant impact on crime prevention efforts in the last 12 months. The selected program will be recognized and showcased at the 2025 Ohio Crime Prevention Association's Annual Conference Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, April 1st 2025.

Eligibility:

  • Any law enforcement agency
  • Any governmental agency
  • Any community-based organization (for profit and non-profit)

 NOMINATION CRITERIA:


- Any organization that has developed a new crime prevention program or re-vamped an existing one during the previous 12 months.

- Nominations can be made by any member of the agency or organization who implemented the program, or by someone having personal knowledge of the program.

- Nominations should include the name of agency or organization who implemented the program.

Nominations should include the date the program was implemented or revitalized.

- Nominations should include the crime problem being targeted.

- Nominations should include the effectiveness of the program.

- Community group or geographical area targeted by the program

- Nominations MUST include a detailed description of the program, as this will be read at the annual awards luncheon.
