Grit, Procrastination, and their Correlates

This research seeks to investigate the relationship between grit, procrastination, and other measures, as part of an undergraduate Honours research project.  The research is to be supervised by Dr Alexander Weiss, University of Edinburgh.  The project has been approved by the Psychology Research Ethics Committee.

In this study, you will be asked to answer approximately 150 questionnaire items, measuring personality, grit, procrastination, and other relevant constructs.

Completion of the questionnaire should take no more than 20-25 minutes.

You may decide to stop being a part of the research study at any time without explanation. You have the right to ask that any data you have supplied to that point be withdrawn/destroyed.  Destruction of data can occur only with the identification of a specific submission, which can only be done when provided with time and date of submission; communication about a particular submission can be conducted from a one-time-use email address, ensuring continued anonymity.  Requests for data destruction must be received before February 16th, 2014.

You have the right to have your questions about the procedures answered (unless answering these questions would interfere with the study’s outcome).
There are no known benefits or risks for you in this study.

Your participation in this study is voluntary.

The data collected do not contain any personal information about you.  The date and time at which your answer is submitted is stored.

Data will be used in an undergraduate Honours research project.
