BOYS: Skyline (6-4) at Pioneer (2-8) *
The Eagles notched a two-point road win last week and a quadruple-overtime home win. This one shouldn’t be that close. Skyline, 66-52.
BOYS: Saline (3-7) at Temperance Bedford (4-5) *
Bedford will be hungry for a win after hanging with Skyline and Huron on the road last week. Bad situation for the Hornets to walk into. Bedford, 56-51.
BOYS: Lincoln (9-1) at Huron (8-2), 7 p.m. Saturday *
After watching Huron get manhandled on the boards by Bedford’s Jeremy Harris last week, I have a hard time believing the River Rats will keep Lincoln’s big guys off of them. Lincoln, 64-60.
BOYS: Chelsea (2-9) at Adrian (2-8) *
The Bulldogs have some company as a struggling SEC White team: Chelsea, Adrian and Tecumseh have a combined two league wins. I’ll go with the home team in a coin flip game. Adrian, 48-46.
GIRLS: Pioneer (1-10) at Skyline (7-3) *
Skyline earned its first-ever win against Pioneer earlier this season. The wait for their second won’t be nearly as long. Skyline, 53-46.
GIRLS: Temperance Bedford (10-2) at Saline (7-4) *
Bedford earned itself a path to a share of the SEC Red title with its win over Huron Friday. It won’t want to give that up. Bedford, 58-52.
GIRLS: Huron (8-3) at Lincoln (2-10), 7 p.m. Saturday *
Normally I’d leave a game between teams of these records off the picks. But after Huron’s result last Friday, I figured maybe one or two of you want to take a shot at an upset. Not me, though. Huron, 47-24.
GIRLS: Ypsilanti (7-3) at Tecumseh (7-5) *
Ypsilanti squeaked out a four-point win the first time around. A good way for Ypsilanti to reverse a little midseason hiccup. Ypsilanti, 45-39.
