Dazzling Data
Knowledge is power as the saying goes, and data unlocks knowledge.

Apply now to join us for a funded programme to learn how to get more from data.

We’ll take you through case studies with real world relevance to collect environmental data, including a group project where you'll log air quality. You'll display your data on Internet dashboards -- live -- so other participants can compare and discover trends and inform decision making.

We’re looking for individuals and organisations who want to increase their skills and share their knowledge with others in the use and collection of real world data.

If your application is successful, you’ll gain practical skills, learning how to set up automatic remote data collection in the field, sending data to the cloud for analysis and live presentation in real time dashboards. In addition you’ll get a handle on the Internet of Things, machine learning, artificial intelligence and big data together with the ethics and societal considerations.

A basic level of computer literacy is required.

Training will be delivered either in person at workshops or online in June 2022. Thanks to the generosity of our funders The RSA, we have kit to lend to you. All you need is a laptop or tablet with Internet connection (we will have some laptops to use at our in person workshops for those that need them) and interest and enthusiasm.
