Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels - Holiday Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in spreading holiday cheer with Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels!

This special volunteer opportunity involves delivering meals on the holiday(s) of your choice: Thanksgiving Day (Currently Full), Christmas Day, and/or New Year’s Day, throughout Eastern Washtenaw County. Volunteer check-in is at 10:30am. Delivery is between 11am and 1p.m. You will be using your personal vehicle to bring delicious meals and a little extra joy to a small group of 8–10 clients. 

Please note that this role requires a bit of physical activity, as volunteers may need to lift or pull coolers weighing up to 40 lbs and navigate steps while making deliveries.

This is also a firm commitment role, so please provide ample notice if you are no longer able to volunteer.
