  Bus Transportation Form 2024-2025

The Academy contracts with Local Motion to meet our day student transportation needs. Detailed bus schedules and information can be found at www.milton.edu/bus. Please review the website before registering for service. The school cannot guarantee bus service requests received after July 15.

By registering for the Milton Academy bus service, parents (and by extension, their student(s)) acknowledge and agree to the following rules and responsibilities:

1.   Pickup and Dropoff times at each stop are approximate and based on assumed traffic conditions.  Students should arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup and departure times to ensure they do not miss a pick-up.  Should times be more than 15 minutes off of the schedule, Milton Academy will make every effort to notify families as soon as the information is provided by Local Motion. 

2.The bus has a schedule to meet and cannot wait for late students. The bus will depart promptly at the scheduled pickup time.  Should a student miss the bus, parents must find alternative means of transporting their child to school.

3. At drop off, the bus will depart promptly after students have exited the bus in order to maintain the bus schedule.

4.The Academy provides bus transportation for students only.  Parents are not permitted to board the bus for any reason.

5. Students must follow all directions of the bus driver as well as guidelines issued by the school.  Any student who does not follow the guidelines will no longer be allowed to ride the bus.

6. By registering for the bus, families are committing to bus service fees. Bus fees will be billed to family accounts at the end of September. Families who purchase full-year round trip passes, but whose circumstances after the start of school require them to make other transportation arrangements, are eligible for a 40% refund if canceled by October 31, 2024. Half-year or one-direction passes may not be canceled and are not refundable after the school year begins. There is a $150 cancellation fee if bus service is canceled prior to the start of school. 

By submitting this form, you agree to pay the bus transportation fee as billed, and you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation policies and parent responsibilities described above.
