A few notes for 2019:
1. PJH has joined the Sacramento Youth Football and Cheer(SYF) league: http://sacyouthfootball.com/

2. SYF will be managing background checks, which will occur at a MANDATORY coach's clinic..

3. PJH is strengthening our alignment with the Placer High School football program, including systems run and conduct expected of players/coaches, both on and off the field.

4. SYF requires our adherence to the "National Standards for Youth Sports" http://www.nays.org/ The NAYS philosophy has always been defined in PJH's bylaws as follows:

"The Association's Philosophy and responsibility is to encourage the youthful participants to do their very best and have fun. In this motive, it will strive to instill the ethic of self-determination as the reward for persistence and hard work is coupled with the earned right to play. Emphasis on winning will always be put into its proper perspective when the focus is on developing the character of youngsters. The welfare of our youth's mental and emotional health, while nourishing a strong sense of self-esteem, will be foremost in our efforts. Adults involved in the Association will conduct themselves in an exemplary manner while striving to meet these objectives and their actions will be free of any compulsions for personal power and advancement.”
