Submit a Commentary to VOSD

Weigh in on important issues to San Diego by submitting a commentary to VOSD. Here are some general guidelines:

-The commentary should be no more than 900 words max.
-We only publish commentaries that are exclusive to VOSD.
-We require a real first and last name, as well as a broad area of town where the author lives and/or the author’s official title with relevant organizations.
-We're an online publication so we strongly encourage folks to provide links/documents to studies, reports and other news stories to be included as source links.

*Have something to say but it's 300 words or fewer? Share it in The Plaza instead: http://voiceofsandiego.org/the-plaza/

Have questions? Already have your commentary formatted with links and sourcing in a Word document? Email catherine@vosd.org

Note: Our new website also allows us to display a user’s profile photo when they write a commentary. If you're submitting a commentary, please upload a photo of yourself to your user account on our website so your photo will display with the commentary. You can do this easily if, when you are signed in, you click on your name and then click on “My Profile.” Once you click on “My Profile,” it takes you to a page where you can upload the photo (it says “Upload an Avatar”).

If you don't have a VOSD user account, then click on the “Log In/Sign Up” button, and then click on the large “Sign Up” button to create an account.
