1. Hire Agreement

The Hirer agrees to hire the van described in this agreement (hereinafter referred to as "the Vehicle") for the duration specified in the booking confirmation.

2. Eligibility

The Hirer must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid and clean driver's license for  at least three years for the class of vehicle being hired.

3. Identification and Documentation

The Hirer must provide valid identification and a copy of their driver's license at the time of pick-up.

4. Booking and Payment

A booking deposit is required to secure the reservation. The balance of the hire charge must be paid before or at the time of pick-up.

5. Pick-Up and Drop-Off

The Vehicle will be fully charged at the time of pick-up. The Hirer is responsible for returning the Vehicle fully charged at their own cost.

The Vehicle must be picked up and dropped off at the locations and times specified in the booking confirmation.

6. Fuel/Charging Policy

The Vehicle must be returned with a full charge. Failure to do so will result in a charging fee based on the cost of electricity plus an additional service fee of £50.

7. Use of the Vehicle

The Vehicle must not be used for any illegal purposes or in any manner that would cause damage to the Vehicle.

The Hirer is responsible for all tolls, fines, and other charges incurred during the hire period.

8. Insurance and Liability

The Vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance. However, the Hirer is responsible for any damage to the Vehicle up to the amount of the insurance excess.

The Hirer is liable for any damage caused to the Vehicle as a result of negligence or improper use.

9. Breakdowns and Accidents

In the event of a breakdown, the Hirer must contact the insurance company immediately for assistance.

Any accidents must be reported to the insurance company, police  and the ELREC as soon as possible.

The Hirer must complete an accident report form and provide all necessary information.

10. Cancellations and Amendments

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the pick-up time to receive a full refund of the booking deposit.

Amendments to the booking are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

11. Termination of Hire

The hire company reserves the right to terminate the hire agreement and repossess the Vehicle at any time if the Hirer breaches any terms of this agreement.

12. Personal Belonging

The hire company is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the Vehicle.

By signing below, the Hirer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.
