IowaDR – Register for Training

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Iowa Disaster Relief (IowaDR)!

This form serves as the registration for upcoming IowaDR training events and collects the necessary information for both new and returning volunteers.

New Volunteers:
To become an IowaDR volunteer, you’ll need to:

1. Register for and complete DR101, our foundational training for all volunteers.
2. Submit information for a background check (included in this form).
3. Pay a $35 fee, which covers training, background check, badge, shirt, and hat.

Returning Volunteers:
If you’ve already completed DR101 and have a current background check on file, simply:

• Provide your updated contact info.
• Select which training event you plan to attend.
• (No payment or background check info will be needed.)
