2022 fifth grade variety show
Welcome to the 2022 Dale Street 5th Grade School Variety Show registration form.
**NOTE: This form is required for any student who would like to participate in this annual, fabulous show. For group acts, we require one form PER student**

IMPORTANT DATES:
Mark your calendars!! Important dates to remember:
April 15 — Application Forms Due
April 28  — Show and Tell, 3:00pm - 5:00pm ( show/tell us about your act)
May 19 — Full show Mandatory Rehearsal* 3:00pm - 5:00pm
May 25— Full show Dress Rehearsal 3:00pm - 5:00pm
May 26 — The 5th Grade Variety Show at 6:30pm

* IMPORTANT: We will only have ONE (1) regular rehearsal which will be a full run-through of the show. Make sure to polish your routine/number/act OUTSIDE of rehearsal.  Dress rehearsal will be the final rehearsal before the show.

ALSO IMPORTANT: For the rehearsals after school, MAKE SURE to update Dismissal Manager to the following: 'After School Help' with 'Talent Show' in the notes field.

Be creative! Skits, stand-up comedy, dance, song, music, piano, recitations, bands, magic shows! Everyone welcome!

A few rules:
1. All acts MUST be 2 minutes or less - NO EXCEPTIONS.  Maximum of 10 people to one group.
2. All acts must be presented at the “show-and-tell”. Show-and-tell date is above.  
3. All acts must be age appropriate (parents, please use common sense and observe acts and song lyrics prior to the show-and-tell)
4. If your child participates, a parent is required to help out and volunteer. It’s rewarding and fun! Please sign up on the SignUpGenius below.
5.     Participants can only be in one act.
6.     If you have large or complex props, please let us know this at the show-and-tell.
7.  At the show-and-tell - please give us a sense of your lighting / sound / props needs.
8. Both the rehearsal and the dress rehearsal will be full show rehearsals.  You may not be required to be there the whole time, but please block off the entire two hours for planning purposes.
