**Learn How to Increase Intrinsic Motivation in Your Secondary School Students (October 23, 2019) - W1007
This session features Dr. Gina Riley, Clinical Professor of Adolescent Special Education at the Hunter College School of Education. In this workshop, participants will learn how to increase the three significant psychological needs that must be present in an individual to foster self-motivation (competence, autonomy, and relatedness) in their own students, thereby enhancing feelings of intrinsic motivation and self determination.

**Nuts and Bolts of Lesson Planning (October 26, 2019 | 9:00AM - 12:30PM) | Location W217
Have you ever wanted to master the technique of lesson planning? Are you unsure how to craft measurable objectives that support diverse learning styles? Join The Urban Teaching Project, Inc. as we dig deeper into the foundation of lesson planning and explore the nuts and bolts of effective planning techniques. This workshop is led by Qiane Dolvin (TUTP).

**Classroom Management Pt 2: Managing Challenging Behaviors (Webinar) (October 29, 2019 | Time: 7:00PM-8:00PM)
We’ve all been through it: the student or students whose (mis)behavior ruins your entire day and sometimes even leaves you questioning your decision to become a teacher. The great news is that most of this misbehavior can be prevented or greatly reduced before it begins.

**Strong Voice: Making Your Presence Felt in the Classroom (November 13, 2019) - W1007
This session trains K-12 teachers on how to use body language and tone to convey confidence, formality, and warmth while giving directions and corrections. It builds on key elements of Strong Voice, focusing specifically on how great teachers project their authority in a way that maintains and even strengthens relationships with students.

**Finding the Right School Fit (Webinar) (November 19, 2019 | Time: 7:00-8:00)
Finding a school that is an ideal fit will result in you having a greater impact with students and a longer stay in the teaching profession. In this course, we start by reflecting on who you are as a teacher and what you need from a school in order to be successful.
