The Mission of the District 51 Foundation is to raise funds for academic growth and achievement and promote outreach to benefit kids and community. Our funding priorities are: Professional Learning, Technology and Innovation, and Student and Staff Wellness.
The grant for which you will be applying is limited to our mission to provide Professional Learning for D51 staff to grow students academically in association with the D51 Strategic Plan.
These grants are funded by generous contributions from individuals and businesses throughout Mesa County. To qualify for these Professional Learning Grants, the applicant must meet the criteria listed in the section below. Submitting an application indicates that you agree to all criteria.
Pre-K through high school staff may apply.
Funds are limited and granted twice per year. Applications received from November - February 15 will be in consideration for Spring Semester Funds which will be paid out no later than August 31. Applications received between April and August 31 will be in consideration for Fall Semester Funds which will be paid out no later than December 31. The post-training reflection must be submitted to D51 Foundation within 6 months of the date of award and training.
***If you've received a Professional Learning Grant from the D51 Foundation within the past year, you are not eligible to apply for this round.
***Grants will not be approved to pay for tuition for a college degree. You may apply for a grant that will fund the training, but not the Graduate Credit.
