#Get1Help2 Program
At Able Bodied it is our mission to lower the cost of electric assist handcycling. The Get 1 Help 2 program is our strategy to meet this goal.

We will help you (Get1)
  1. Free e-assist handcycling lesson - Get a free handcycling lesson with us in San Jose or Sonoma to learn about the sport and/or meet one of our #AbleBodiedAmbassadors in your area who can tell you about their experience and guide you through our handcycle guide.
  2. Funding for your own handcycle - Your local #AbleBodiedAmbassador will guide you through our grant guide (ex. help you apply for the KBF or CAF grant).
  3. Setup your new handcycle - We can help you modify and dial in your new handcycle (ex. add electric assist) and/or can help guide you in building an easy transfer ramp
You will become an #AbleBodiedAmbassador (Help2)
  1. Add you to our #AbleBodiedAmbassadors map - We will put your approximate address on a map along with your handcycle details.
  2. Help at least 2 people go through the Get1Help2 program. This would include 1:1 assistance helping new participants find a handcycle to try as well as apply for grants. Help them set up a fundraiser on our platform and help guide them through the online resources we pointed you to.
