The mission of the Bloque de Cocles is to secure a legislative solution that corrects the historical boundary discrepancies of the Keköldi Reserve over Cocles. We are dedicated to advocating for a long-term, stable resolution that honors legal certainty, protects property rights, restores and promotes lasting harmony to the community of Cocles, which earns the support of the Legislative Assembly. We have an expert legal thesis based on sound legal fundamentals that deal adequately with indigenous affairs and human rights obligations, all of which has been tested and proven in practice already.  

Bloque de Cocles is a private group of affected property owners. Don Leo is the leader of our group. We have a Council of  Advisors of 10 affected property owners, including a lawyer. A new Council is chosen yearly.  We have a legal commission which includes 2 lawyers.  We've retained a specialized lawyer with 15 years expertise in indigenous affairs.  We have an accounts team and a treasurer. Plus, our participants help out in numerous capacities, sharing our skill sets and talents when and where needed.  It's a team effort.

The registration process is as follows:

1.    Complete this survey.  Once we review your survey, we will send you the following:

2.     Submit your Plano and other property details. 

3.     Make your initial contribution via bank wire or transfer to a Costa Rican bank account.

4.     Once the above is completed, we will add you to our Whats App chats (one in English and one in Spanish) and our shared Google Drive where our communication are published. From within the Chat, we recommend you join subgroups and working groups to help us achieve success!
