申請帳號類別 Account Type *
使用者僅限 CAD Group 老師的學生，符合下列其中條件 (only CAD group members are qualified)，僅限于申請身份其間之學術使用。另外，課程修課學生對象僅限於一般生，不含旁聽與其他資格者，僅限課程範圍及期間之使用。
科號 Course Number *
課程修課學生請務必填入校務資訊系統中正確的「科號」，科號錯誤者，將不予申請；若為課程助教請在科號後括號註記助教；研究生或專題生請點選「研究生或專題生」。                                                                                                                                                                                                    For a course student, you must fill in the correct course number in the academic information system to be accepted. For a graduate or senior-project student, select "graduate or senior-project student".

# 帳號名稱說明 Account Naming Rule
1. 除課程帳號以學號之外，統一以「中文名」之英文拼音字首縮寫與「中文姓」之英文拼音組成，若與現有帳號重複，則加上申請西元年份區別，或由管理者加上編號以方便管理。

2. 若為外籍人士無中文姓名，則以 First Name 之字首縮寫與 Last Name 組成，若與現有帳號重複，則加上申請之西元年份區別，或由管理者加上編號以方便管理。

The course account name will be your student ID. The account name of other types is the initial of your first name + your last name. If the account name is in use, we will append the current year or a simple number to distinguish.

# 密碼設置規則說明 Password Policy
1. 長度必須大於 10 個字元。
2. 必須包含英文大寫、英文小寫、數字，以及特殊符號。
3. 不可以與舊密碼相同。
4. 密碼更改週期為 360 天。

# 外部網路連線說明 Network Connection Policy
從外部網路必須以 SSH 統一登入至入口 nthucad.cs.nthu.edu.tw, 再連線到 ic 編號之工作站執行程式。切勿在入口機器執行佔用運算及儲存資源的程式。
For external access, you must ssh to the gateway, nthucad.cs.nthu.edu.tw, and then connect to other local workstations to run programs. Do not run any computation-intensive or memory-intensive programs on the gateway.

# 帳號使用期限說明 Account Period of Use
課程帳號與閒置帳號將依照下列規則處理：
1. 開設給修課同學使用的帳號統一在次一學期開學一週前刪除，課程結束請同學立即自行備份帳號資料。
2. 超過一年未曾登入的帳號將暫時凍結，禁止遠端登入。
3. 超過兩年未曾登入的帳號將刪除帳號資料。
4. 刪除之帳號資料不負備份之責。

1. Course accounts will be deleted after every semester.
2. An account will be frozen if the user does not log in for over one year. Then remote access will be forbidden.
3. An account will be deleted if the user does not log in for over two years.
4. It is your responsibility to backup your own data. We will not backup before deleting user accounts.

# 使用規範 Term of Use
1. 使用者有義務維持良好資安使用習慣。
2. 帳號僅限本人使用，嚴禁借用他人使用，請妥善保管密碼勿外洩。
3. 不做有損 CAD 工作站及其他使用者的任何行為，或其他任何違法之舉。
4. 禁止私自架設常駐軟體、遊戲伺服器，或挖礦程式等非學術研究目的之工具，或存放不合法之資料檔案。
5. 請遵守商用軟體或製程資料授權規範，切勿將其資料外流或上傳公開之網路空間。
6. 請遵守資安、智慧財產權及個人資料保護之相關法令。
7. 個人重要資料請務必自行定期備份，工作站管理者不負備份保存之責任。
8. 若違反上述申請規則及使用規範，以致帳號停權或其他處分，而導致任何個人損失，絕無異議。

1. You have the responsibility to protect the account security.
2. You must not share the account with any others. Please secure your password.
3. You must not do anything harmful or illegal to our system and others.
4. Game server, mining program, or non-academic usage is forbidden. Any illegal or copyright infringing materials are prohibited.
5. You must comply with the license agreements of commercial software and process technology. You must not re-distribute any private materials.
6. You must comply with the laws of Intellectual Property Rights and Computer-Processed Personal Data Protection Law.
7. You must backup your data periodically. The administrators are not responsible for it.
8. The user account will be frozen or removed for the Term of Use infringement.
