BUCK 2016 Event Application
This form is for applying to run your own event at BUCK 2016.

We're looking creatively-driven events from the community, such as the following:
 - Demonstrations, such as 'Digital Art Basics'
 - Workshops, such as 'Make Your Own Clay Pony Figurine'
 - Discussion panels, such as 'Brief History of Geek Culture on the Internet'

These panels should aim to be 30-60mins long, and be self-contained. BUCK Events can offer limited assistance and advice, but ultimately, if accepted, the event is your show, and you will be expected to handle it's organisation.

Most of these events will take place in Workshop Room 2, which has 200-250 seating capacity in a theatre layout. The room can be rearranged with tables for a workshop, but if you wish to run an event like this, please be realistic about how many people you can cater for, and include that in The Pitch.

You event should not be focused around Q&A. You can take questions from the audience at the end, or if appropriate, during the event, but an event based on "I run this thing on the internet, ask me stuff" will not be interesting. Instead of asking for questions, consider writing a presentation about what you do and why it's interesting.

Events that require a great deal of tech/equipment are also discouraged, as there will be very narrow setup/takedown times, and BUCK will not be able to supply or test much more than a laptop and/or projector.
