For 50 years, YWCA Darien/Norwalk has been the cornerstone of the community building a vibrant, values-driven organization to carry out YWCA’s mission to eliminate racism, empower women and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
We offer education, programs and experiences that foster a more unified and empowered community where all people can thrive.
Each year we honor women in the Darien/Norwalk communities who epitomize our mission through their community leadership and contributions.
All nominations will be reviewed by the YWCA Women of Distinction Nominating Committee. We will be in touch with you and the nominee in early March with our decision. All of this year's honorees will be publicly announced thereafter.
