2024 FAEP Conference and Symposium Abstract and Student Poster Submission Form
Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract or student poster for the 2024 Florida Association of Environmental Professionals Conference Symposium to be held April 25-26, 2024 at the B Hotel in Orlando, Florida.  Please use the following form to submit your abstract(s) for consideration. Abstracts should be submitted by January 26, 2024, to guarantee consideration by the Committee.  Abstracts can be submitted after that date but will be reviewed at the Committee's discretion. The FAEP Conference Committee anticipates that it will notify you if your abstract has been accepted by February 23, 2024.  Speakers will receive a discounted speaker rate to register for the full Conference and Symposium.  Each speaker will be responsible for any additional expenses required to attend, such as travel or lodging. What is the title of the presentation?
Please provide one or more keywords for your  presentation so it may be sorted into an appropriate track of presentations.  Example keywords include:  Section 404 – WOTUS, Listed Species Updates, Mitigation Banking, Environmental Restoration, Transportation / Infrastructure, Due Diligence, PFAS/Emerging Contaminants, State of Florida Legislative Updates, Sensitive Land Management, Contaminated Site Cleanup / Brownfields, Stormwater, Geology, Environmental Compliance, Sustainability, GIS Applications, Solid Waste, New Professionals Session, Students Poster; Other (include keywords).
Please provide a summary of the presentation.  Summaries should be approximately 500 words in length or less.  Please also include a summary of what attendees of the presentation will learn.

How long will this presentation be?  Please note that it is preferred that individual presentations be 30 minutes in length although longer presentations will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  Panel presentations may be up to 90 minutes in length.

Are you flexible on the length of the presentation?  If so, please let us know the minimum and maximum presentation lengths.

For proposals with multiple speakers, the submitter of the abstract proposal will be listed as the Session Coordinator for the proposal, meaning they will act as the point of contact with the FAEP Conference Committee. The FAEP Conference Committee will reach out directly to the Session Coordinator if there are any questions or if we need additional information regarding the proposal. 
For proposals with multiple speakers, please estimate the total number of speakers below.  

If you can, please also provide the name, email and phone number for the other speakers.  If you are unable to do so at this time, the FAEP Conference Committee will reach out to you to obtain this information after your abstract is accepted.
