2022 National Coach Development Programme
Date: Sunday, 31st July 2022
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm
Venue: Nelson Hockey Association
Cost: Free
Open to new/intermediate level coaches of  junior, youth, secondary and adults teams outside the premier competition

Registrations will close 12:00pm, Monday 18th July

The coaches need to complete Hockey New Zealand's ‘Coaching Fundamentals’ module prior to taking part in the programme.

Key dates:

Registrations open - Thursday, 30th June

Registrations close and participants are given access to the online modules – Monday, July 18th

Following the workshop, participants will be given access to an online self-reflection module – Friday, August 5th

Please note, we do not see this workshop as an athlete coaching session. Our primary focus is on knowledge sharing and development of the coaches.

Presenter Bio:
Sunjay Ganda

The workshop will be facilitated by Sunjay Ganda, who is a Hockey New Zealand Trainer and FIH accredited Developer. Sunjay also has extensive club, school, and representative coaching experience, and is currently coaching the Hornby Canterbury Premier League Men, St Margarets 1st Xl Girls and the Canterbury National Hockey Championship Men’s B side (the Beavers).
