Intern for a Day - Office of Rep. Heather Edelson

Are you curious about the legislative process and how public policy is made? State Representative Heather Edelson (District 50A Edina / Bloomington) invites you to join her at the Capitol for an up close look at the inner workings of how the Minnesota State Legislature operates and why your voice and engagement matter. An official tour of the Capitol with the Minnesota Historical Society will also be provided.  


The Intern for a Day program is non-partisan and is open to high school students who attend Edina / Bloomington Schools or reside in District 50A. The Intern for a Day Program is offered during the 2023 Legislative Session on following dates and times:

Wednesday, February 21st from 9:15am-2:00pm

Wednesday, February 28th  from 9:15am-2:00pm

Wednesday, March 6th from 9:15am-2:00pm

Wednesday, March 13th from 9:15am-2:00pm 

Wednesday, March 28th from 9:15am-2:00pm   

Wednesday, April 3rd from 9:15am-2:00pm
