Convergence is the key-5G network Architecture
As we see the convergence of licensed and unlicensed spectrum is much needed to cater the data demand in next generation networks, specifically for emerging business cases like unlimited data plan and video specific applications. We believe that 5G network architecture will cater the convergence as key enabler and we call it as "large scale convergence" which will also define the MEC stage in next gen network architecture or 5G architecture. As standards are being worked for SA and NSA architecture approaches and also, we know the effort from cellular vendors/service providers like LWA, LAA, LTE-U, WiFi-offload etc. your views here would be appreciated.
