“Global to Local: Lessons for Open Government & Civic Engagement for DC," a public meeting co-sponsored by the D.C. Open Government Coalition and the U.S. General Services Administration. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 15, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in Washington, DC.
Highlights include discussions on how international and national open government efforts relate to local communities, a keynote from Kathleen Patterson, and a panel on transparency reform. This is a unique opportunity to engage with local leaders and advocates on advancing open government and civic engagement in the District.
