First year volunteers are not provided a "free" volunteer campsite. In order to receive free volunteer campsite, volunteers must have volunteered for a minimum of 24 hours on the previous volunteer year. If camping, first year volunteers must pay for camping and request the East Campground.

There are very few camp sites in Paradise City with power and access to water (no sewer). These camp sites are reserved for those volunteers that work 8 hours or more per day for at least 5 of the 6 days of the event (48 hour minimum). Most are 120 volts/15 amps. You may run only 1 air conditioner. Just because you had power in a previous year does not necessarily mean you will have a space in powered camping this year. All powered camping spaces are pre-assigned and those assigned a space in powered camping will be notified prior to the Saturday before the event begins.
