The School of Health Promotion and Human Performance Mentor Program connects HPHP students and alumni by matching students with professionals in their field(s) of interest who can offer advice and information about career options or other issues relevant to particular fields.
All mentors are required to attend a Mentoring Kickoff Luncheon and Workshop where you will have the opportunity to meet your student protege in person, learn more about the mentoring program, and work with your protege to develop goals and action steps for participation in the program. The date for the luncheon is September 28, 2012 in the EMU Student Center. If you are interested in serving as a mentor, and you are able to attend this event, please complete and submit the form below. You will be contacted in July with the name and contact information for the student with whom you are paired. If you have any questions prior to completing this application, please contact Christine Karshin, HPHP School Director, at phone (734) 487-0090 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
