This application only needs to be completed by students who currently live on campus and would like to apply to live off campus for the 2025 Fall semester. You do not need to fill this out if you have previously been approved to live off campus.

We believe your Lipscomb community experience is most engaging when you live on campus, so we require our freshmen, sophomores and juniors to do so.

*Any Lipscomb financial gift or grant aid you receive correlates to our campus living policy. Moving off campus can result in a reduction of awards, so please contact Financial Aid at 615.966.1791 to learn more.

*A student may request an exception for reasons other than those listed below by completing this application and choosing “other,” and the Director of Housing will contact the student for further information.

*Students attempting to live off campus who have not been granted an exemption will be billed the full semester housing charges. Do not sign any off-campus agreement until you have written permission to live off campus. You will receive an email within a timely from the Director of Housing concerning your application.

*Providing false information while applying to live off-campus may result in disciplinary action.

*Students on disciplinary probation are required to live on campus. Your application will be reviewed by the Director of Community Standards. If you are not in good standing with the university, please do not fill out this application.
