WCSC will hold an election for System Administrator/Blue Team Captain on Monday, April 18th at 5 PM.
The WCSC System Administrator manages the WCSC computing infrastructure and acts as the team captain for the WCSC Blue Team, which practices for and competes in cyber defense competitions. The System Administrator serves a one (1) year term from the election until the end of the Spring 2023 term.
WCSC System Administrator responsibilities:
- Act as Blue Team Captain
- Plan weekly Blue Team practices
- Give talks and present training (lecture, hands-on) related to Blue Team skills
- Keep Blue Team participants engaged
- Choose and organize competition teams
- Lead the Blue Team in cyber defense competitions (particularly SECCDC/NCCDC)
- Assist the club with IT related needs
- Assist the EBoard with any other tasks
