In our orientations we explore and discover insights to our journey of being a conscious parent/teacher/caregiver and support our children's journey to create a wonderful world for all beings.

We will share:

• Our understanding of child development and how it impacts Aarambh's approach to education. We will be exploring what children experience at Aarambh with the intention to bring balance just by the way we conduct our daily lives at Aarambh.

• Role of the parents and teachers in a child's development through KG to the primary years. We will reflect if we are seeking a space where :
- we would like to see children grow naturally as per their own individual needs
- their health and well-being is seen to be closely related to their ability to engage and learn.
- they get to explore their creativity in healthier ways
- loving boundaries support their age-appropriate development.

What are your PRESENT obstacles? *

My child does not share his toys and books with his friends.

My child does not say 'Thank You' after receiving gifts. I have to remind my child to say 'sorry' after they have hurt someone.

I find it embarrassing when my child does not respond with a 'good morning' or does not touch elders' feet.

My child does not like a variety of food, or is particular about food choices. She is fussy about eating. She likes eating biscuits, chocolates, sweets, etc and makes a fuss about eating rice/roti/dal. How could I work on her eating ways?

Has no interest in reading books.

My child wants to play or watch something on the phone most of the time. How could I reduce her exposure to the media?

Consumption of junk food like burgers and pizzas is increasing. How do I reduce that?

What are the career options for a child completing Aarambh education? Would my child be able to appear for regular Engineering and Medical exams if he attends Aarambh? Will the child be able to pursue mainstream higher education courses after completing schooling in an alternative school?

How do children from Aarambh fair with children from other schools/institutions?

How will be the transition from Aarambh to any other institution after Grade 5 or earlier?
