A user violates the Commercial Work rule (Rule 4) by asking for free Youtube artwork to use in a non-monetized channel, but they have 5K subscribers. Knowing the commercial work policy, what is your appropriate action to follow up on? *

A user behaves themselves on r/DrawForMe, but mentions on another subreddit that they're of a conservative political stance. You:

Badger them off-subreddit

Nothing; you do not enforce behavior in other subreddits. Their political views have no bearing on their postings on r/DrawForMe.

Permaban them without warning

A user asks about their ban upon breaking a rule. They are civil and don't cause a fuss, and have not made any rude comments about the removal. You:

Respond cordially with the requested information

You're not feeling up to responding to them, and ask another moderator to handle them.

Mute them for 28 days so they can't contact the mods; we don't need that noise.

An artist contacts you through your DMs for permission to post to r/DrawForMe for commissions. They do not meet the karma and account age requirements. The mod log shows they tried to post, but the AutoModerator removed the post with a warning of why.

You respond to them that they are unable to do so because of their account age.

Ignore it; r/DrawForMe mods do not answer private inquires through DMs

Make a note in ModMail of their inquiry, letting a higher mod handle it.

You've just removed a free tattoo request, and the user has just reposted as "a drawing request". Upon tempbanning and removing the new post, the user tells you to kill yourself and to "suck his wiggly dick".

Mute him; he can come back when he's civil.

Do nothing, just let the ModMail be.

Permaban him; mod abuse is not tolerated, especially when following policy.

A post gets reported that a requester is asking of art of an unauthorized base, which the original artist expressively prohibited use or derivatives of. The post fits the guidelines aside from that issue.

Have another moderator hunt down the original artist upon removal to note that their TOS has been violated.

You asked a head mod to handle a ban for you, in which they respond that they're working and will get to it upon returning home. The user is running amok and starting to spam the board/become hostile.

No, the subreddit has a stance of professionalism and decorum. The BS stops here, but eloquently.

r/DrawForMe moderators take a neutral, free-speech stance on modding. We do not preemptively ban people off the subreddit because we don't like them, of their religious or political beliefs, or their behavior in another subreddit.

r/DrawForMe moderators are enforcers, but are guardians of the community. They are there to protect the userbase, artist's works and to make sure they don't get taken advantage of. A level of repertoire and understanding of people is required; it's not a position to shovel people away because you don't want to talk to them, or abuse your position to tread on them.
