Hillcrest High School Hall - Committee Members

Purpose of Committees and Subcommittees:  

 Committees within the Legion Board of Advisors help execute key initiatives that support student-athletes. Groups such as Marketing/Communications, Hall of Fame/Sponsorships, Stadium Project/Major Funding Initiatives, and Knights of the Round Table focus on specific areas of need. By joining a committee, community members can directly impact student-athletes through their skills, time, and resources—helping create an environment where students thrive academically, athletically, and personally.

Committee Member Term of Service:

Committee members serve a one-year term, with opportunities for renewal or rotation. Each committee is composed of dedicated volunteers passionate about Hillcrest High School’s athletic programs. With five active committees, there are many opportunities to contribute expertise and resources. Through active participation, members help advance the Board’s mission and enrich the experience of student-athletes and the broader school community.

Marketing/Communications Committee - Promotes the Legion’s mission and events through branding, media outreach, and storytelling. This committee manages social media, press releases, and community engagement to increase visibility and support for student-athletes.
Hall of Fame/Sponsorship Committee - Oversees the selection process for the Hillcrest Hall of Fame and manages relationships with sponsors and donors. Members help secure financial and in-kind support that directly benefits athletic programs.
Stadium Project/Major Funding Initiatives Committee - Leads large-scale fundraising efforts for capital projects such as stadium upgrades and new athletic facilities. Members collaborate with community leaders, donors, and businesses to drive long-term infrastructure improvements.
Knights of the Round Table Committee - Serves as a council of key supporters and influencers who provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and leadership for the Legion’s broader vision. This committee helps align community partnerships and major initiatives with Hillcrest’s athletic goals.
