Board members have important legal and fiduciary responsibilities that require a commitment of time, expertise, and resources. Our board member terms are for a period of two years. After completing this application, you may be asked to meet for coffee and sit in on a board meeting so that you can learn more about being a Food Roots board member and if this is the right position for you. At this time we are a working board, which means we share the responsibility for running the organization. We are looking for board members who can contribute more than the usual number of hours. In addition to attending board meetings (2 hours per month), all board members are asked to provide, at a minimum, 2 additional hours of service.
