Open Call for Wasa Graffitilandia 2025 residency is now open!

Residency period: July-October

Duration: 1-2 weeks

Wasa Graffitilandia is an extensive graffiti- and street art gallery founded in 2021, speciality can store, graffiti workshop provider and now also graffiti residency! The residency is located in inspiring surroundings, in the midst of our over 3000m2 art exhibition space in an old train warehouse. The residency is open for international graffiti- and street artists. The residency is free for chosen artists. We cover all or part of travel costs.

We offer: Inspiring surroundings for working, as the residency is situated in our exhibition, where hundreds of artist have taken part! We offer big walls and/or public spaces for painting, material (spray cans and caps) and a small artist fee.

Accomodation: Two rooms inside Wasa Graffitilandia (1x1 person and 1x2 person rooms). The rooms have bed/beds, bed sheets and towels. The residency has a common space with sofas, TV and literature. The residency has a small kitchen and shower.

Vaasa city center is within walking distance. In the immediate surroundings are flea markets, super markets and the train station. Vaasa has multiple wall of fames, which we can introduce to chosen artists.

Travel: Vaasa is reached from Helsinki by train and plane and from Umeå (Sweden) by ferry.

Wasa Graffitilandia is organised by a small street culture association. We are an independent operator from within the graffiti culture.
