About this Event
What to expect:

Our time together will be a 60-minute Mindful Outdoor Experience with gentle movement, breathing and centering exercises, nature meditation, mindful walking, and sharing. We will embrace the full experience of being with Mother Nature – which means preparing for a variety of weather conditions – unless there is a high risk of extreme or dangerous weather.

We will be walking less than a mile on ground that has a slight incline and/or stairs, and may be uneven. There are port-a-potties at this location.

How to prepare:

* Come without expectations and allow yourself to be open to an experience in the Nebraska weather - whatever that may bring!

* Dress in layers. Wear what you would be comfortable in for a day outside, plus an extra layer just in case.

* Bring your preferred bug spray or insect repellent. Ticks may be present.

* Put on comfortable shoes or boots. Don’t wear anything with a smooth tread or thin sole. We’ll be on ground that may be uneven, muddy, or partially covered by plant growth.

* Stash a few items in a small backpack if you’d like – things like water, a beverage, snacks, extra layers, and/or a small blanket for times that we are not moving or to sit on.

* Don’t stress too much about gear or what to pack. The important thing is simply being, not having the perfect gear.

* Enjoy, and let your curiosity lead the way!
