An ORFC 2027 bursary may cover:
-Conference registration fee
-Travel costs (within the UK only)*
-Accommodation costs

*Unfortunately, due to limited funding, bursaries cannot cover international travel.

Eligibility
-You are welcome to apply for a bursary if you meet one or more of these criteria:
-You are a Black person
-You are a person of colour
-You identify as LGBTQIA+
-You have a disability
-You work part-time, are unemployed or have low-waged work
-You can share another way you are experiencing inequity

Selection criteria
ORFC will award bursaries based on need, impact and available funds.

What is expected if I am awarded a bursary?
All bursary recipients are asked to complete a brief feedback form after the conference. This feedback is important to help ORFC offer more bursaries in the future. Bursary recipients who have travel and/or accommodation expenses reimbursed will need to send an expenses claim form and corresponding receipts.

Deadline
Applications are due by midday (12pm BST) on Thursday 3rd September 2026.
All applicants will be notified by Thursday, 17th September 2026.

Application
Please note the application will not allow you to save your answers and continue later, so responses need to be submitted all at once. You can review a PDF of the application here.
