OPEF In-House Robotics Club Application: Julian 2019-20
This application must be completed by the student with a parent/guardian.

In The In-House Robotics Club Students are taught the basics of robot design and programming. They work in teams to build and program a VEX robot to play in our In-House Club competition, the Robot Rumble.

The In-House Club meets once a week on Tuesdays during two 12-week sessions--the first in the fall/winter from October 22-January 21, the next in the winter/spring, from February 11- May 12. Each session culminates with a mini-competition called The Robot Rumble. Students will be enrolled in only one session. We recommend students with no prior robotics experience or those who prefer a less intensive experience sign up for the In-House Club. Students are enrolled on a first- come, first-serve basis.

Applications must be received no later than January 3, 2020 for session 2.

OPEF VEX Robotics provides an inclusive environment for students with and without disabilities. However, it is important to note that OPEF is a separate entity independent from Oak Park School District 97. Therefore, we do not have access to District plans such as IEP’s, behavior plans, etc. and must make our own determination as to what accommodations we are able to support.
