Scarecrow Contest
Join us on the Town Common for our annual Build a Scarecrow Contest!

Decorate a SCARECROW for your family, club, business, organization, team, non profit, etc.. Scarecrows will be placed along Route 1 and our Town Square through Halloween.
Prizes will be awarded.

FREE to families, community members, non profits - $10 suggest donation for businesses (to be used for prize) - please make checks payable to "Town of Salisbury."

Winners will be determined through a "like" contest on our Facebook Page.

RULES:
-This is a fun, family-friendly event. Scarecrow designs should be non-partisan/ non-political, secular and appropriate for all ages. Scarecrow designs are subject to approval.
-Scarecrow designs should include a 10x10 sign acknowledging the creator or dedication. All signs must be approved and a proof provided before installation.
-All scarecrows are required to remain on display from October 1st through October 31st.
- No items should be staked in the ground (irrigation),  and there should be no obstruction to roadways or sight lines.
-Please contact Jennifer Roketenetz at 978-462-8232 x 128 for any other parameters.
-Please return and completely clear ALL materials on Monday November 1st.
Parks & Recreation reserves the right to NOT accept any entry that is deemed inappropriate
for general public display.
