Welcome to E1T1, a global technology and engineering education and workforce development nonprofit that empowers individuals, including girls and people of all backgrounds, to become leaders, creators, and ready for a career in tech. We provide website development and other technology services to nonprofits, small businesses, and other qualified organizations. E1T1 provides free 4-6 week internship programs in online teams learning photography, making videos, social media optimization, fitness, website development, mobile app development, html, css and python coding, and more. No previous skills or experience required. Interns learn to create their own websites, including professional photography and video portfolios, and from there, move to to creating professional client websites. Interns to work with supervisors to provide services to clients, building websites and provide technology and IT administration services. Clients include nonprofits which otherwise could not afford new websites and other technology support services. Interns build mobile apps related to their interests, and create their own online business. We collaborate with programs to provide opportunities to learn to build and repair bikes and earn a bike free.

We incorporate mind/body balance and fitness into the program. E1T1 program goals include providing job-seeking skills. E1T1 programs can also serve as a young person's first job experience and exposure to the world of work, or an experienced person's first job experience moving to the tech sector or to a position benefitting from tech skills. Participation includes skill-building workshops, and provides the opportunity to attend college tours, financial literacy training, and a variety of program-sponsored social events. ​​​A small number of paid internships are available, and a larger number of unpaid Internships.
