Interested swimmers must complete this form in its entirety and submit it by March 14, 2025. This form may close due to high interest so get your applications in quickly.

Our Vice President, Heather Evans, will be managing junior coaches this season and may be reached via email (evans_h1@yahoo.com) or phone (954-778-4272) for any questions.

Interviews will be conducted in 15-minute increments at a date TBD.

Selected junior coaches & their parent/guardian must attend a junior coach training/meeting (date & time TBD) in order to participate in the 2025 Junior Coach program.

Per Florida State Statute 943.0438, all coaches, including volunteer coaches under the age of 18, who work with athletes for more than 20 hours in a season must complete an FDLE background check prior to the beginning of the work period. By submitting this application, you and your parent/guardian agree that you will submit to this background check.

If selected to participate in the Junior Coach program are you interested in earning volunteer hours for your work? In order to earn volunteer hours, you must pay the full swimmer registration fee as volunteer work can not be done in exchange for financial compensation of any form, including waived registration fees. Due to labor laws, junior coaches must be 16 or over to be eligible for financial compensation. *

NO. if selected as a junior coach this season, I do not need the volunteer hours. I would prefer to work for modest financial compensation this season. I acknowledge that I will not be paid for the time competing as a swim team member at the meets, only for working during practices.
