To All respondents
I am Miss Apinya Anphanlam, a lecturer
in the Department of Performing Arts at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts
and Cultural Science, Mahasarakham University. I am currently conducting
research entitled "From Myth to International Market: Leveraging Supernatural
Narratives in Thai Films for Global Branding and Cultural Diplomacy." The
objectives of this research are: 1. to comprehend the impact of local
supernatural belief storytelling on the international film market, and 2. to investigate the leverage of Thai supernatural films for
global branding and cultural diplomacy.
You may not
directly benefit from participating in this research project. However, the
information obtained will be valuable to professionals in the Thai film
industry, as well as to teachers and students in communication arts, performing
arts, and cultural science disciplines.
If you decide
to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey about your consumption
and opinions on the representation of supernaturalism in Thai films, and their cultural
diplomacy role on international audiences. The Google Forms survey consists of 13 questions. Completing the survey will take approximately 20
minutes. Your responses will be submitted electronically via Google Forms.
If you feel
uncomfortable or feel uncomfortable with some questions, you have the right to
not answer those questions. You also have the right to
withdraw from this project at any time without prior notice. Choosing not to
participate or withdrawing from the research will not affect your consumption
in any way.
The
information from your questionnaire will be confidential and not disclosed
publicly on an individual basis. Only aggregated research results will be
reported. All relevant information will be destroyed after the completion of
the research. No compensation or fees will be provided for participating in
this study.
